Software Development Manager / Supervisory IT Specialist
Leadership of the Software Development Program Office at NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Regional Office. Extensive work on national collaboration to further software development practice at NOAA. Collaborate closely with regulatory authorities to develop appropriate and effective software solutions. Sit on committees or working groups for Data Governance, Catch Shares Program, Diversity & Inclusion. Oversaw successful transition to fully electronic reporting and permitting in 2021.

Web Development Team Lead / IT Specialist
Worked as a key member of the IT team for
NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Regional Office. Lead a team responsible for application and data design, implementation of coding standards, expansion of enterprise-scale framework, implementation of secure open-source web infrastructure. Conceive and realize transactional web tools for management of commercial fisheries data. Lead and mentor web developers, interface with scientific and regulatory personnel.

Owned and operated multimedia web-design company. Managed vendor and sub-contractor relationships to build web sites and related content. Catered to clientele in small business, arts, and environmental organizations.

Producer / Engineering Consultant
On a project basis, engineered and produced recording sessions in a fully equipped digital / analog studio.
Operated vintage and modern recording and mastering equipment. Interacted with corporate and artist clients, managed subcontractors, maintained studio technical environment. Engineered and edited voice-over recordings, including work on PSAs featuring basketball great Magic Johnson.

Maintained a network of approximately 40 servers and 100 workstations in addition to 7 satellite offices.
Directed systems administrators and help-desk personnel. Developed and deployed an open-source strategy, built Linux clusters, deployed secure web. Participated in the sales process, representing systems and programming teams.
